Texas Highway 360: Euless to Arlington

Texas Highway 360: Euless to Arlington | See America

Take a drive with us down one of the DallasFort Worth area’s busiest north-south corridors—State Highway 360, covering 13 fast-moving miles from Euless to Arlington, Texas. This stretch of road serves as a vital connector for commuters, sports fans, and travelers navigating between DFW International Airport and the heart of Arlington. Whether you’re heading to a Rangers game or just bypassing downtown Dallas or Fort Worth, SH-360 offers a straightforward alternative to some of the metroplex’s more congested interstates.

We begin our drive just southwest of DFW Airport at the Mid-Cities Boulevard interchange. This area sits at the edge of Euless, a community closely tied to the airport and known for its residential neighborhoods and business parks. Almost immediately, we encounter the busy interchange with Texas Highway 183 (Airport Freeway), a key east-west route that connects Irving and Fort Worth. Aftercrossing TX-183, SH-360 enters Arlington, and we’re officially in the city limits for the rest of the route.

South of TX-183, traffic density noticeably increases as we approach Trinity Boulevard, where congestion often builds during peak hours. This section of SH-360 is surrounded by light industrial zones and warehouse operations, a testament to Arlington’s strong logistics and distribution infrastructure. Despite the occasional slowdown, the corridor is well-developed and continuously improving, with frontage roads and flyovers helping to manage traffic flow. Beyond the snarl at Trinity, we cruise toward the striking stack interchange at Interstate 30, a major east-west freeway connecting downtown Fort Worth and Dallas.

Continuing south past I-30, we pass the junction with SH-303 (Pioneer Parkway), a route that provides direct access to older parts of Arlington and Grand Prairie. This stretch of SH-360 is more subdued compared to the northern sections, with a mix of residential areas and small commercial centers lining the frontage roads. About 2.5 miles further on, we reach the massive Interstate 20 interchange, which serves as our endpoint for this particular drive. This junction is a key crossroads for travelers heading east toward Dallas suburbs like Duncanville or west toward Fort Worth’s southern districts and Benbrook.

While our video ends at I-20, SH-360 continues much further south, eventually transforming into a tollway and providing access to Mansfield and the extreme south metro. It remains a vital link in the region’s transportation network, favored by drivers who want to avoid the hassle of looping through downtown DFW. Whether you’re using it for your daily commute or as a launch point for adventure, this stretch of highway packs in utility, accessibility, and convenience.
