Interstate 275 (I-275) is a unique auxiliary loop that serves the metropolitan area of Cincinnati, Ohio, while also extending into northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana. Known as the Cincinnati Beltway, I-275 is one of the few interstate loops in the country to pass through three states. It provides a crucial bypass for through traffic, a connector for major interstate routes like I-71, I-75, and I-74, and offers local access to numerous suburbs and surrounding communities.
The loop spans approximately 83 miles, making it the longest complete beltway in the Interstate Highway System.
